This is my let's play of a randomized Pokemon Crystal rom. The rules I'm using are as follows:
Type matchups and moves updated to Gen V
Base Pokemon stats unchanged
Starter Pokemon is random base stage Pokemon with a 3-stage evolutionary line
Pokemon types unchanged
Pokemon movesets random (preferring same type)
Trainer Pokemon, names, and classes random
Rival carries starter through the game
Pokemon of similar strength to originals used
No trainer has legendaries
Wild Pokemon random, catch 'em all mode
Static Pokemon completely random
TMs/HMs unchanged, compatibility is random but prefers same types
