He is the Vice Provost for Transdisciplinary Initiatives at The New School, where he was founding director (2009-2015) of the graduate program in Transdisciplinary Design at Parsons School of Design. He is also Visiting Design Researcher at the Institute of Design in Umea, Sweden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jamer&#8217;s talk at NYU covered his research on designing at and for different scales, and what designers could learn from seeing and interpreting the world at different scales.
