-1 lb (453 g) chicken breast (cut into 1-inch cubes)
-2 cups (120 g) protein pasta (NZ/Aus: Vetta, USA:Brami, UK: Low Carb Italy)
Alfredo Sauce
-1½ cups (350 ml) protein milk
-½ cup (118 ml) chicken broth
-7 oz (200 g) reduced-fat cream cheese
-½ cup (30 g) reduced-fat grated parmesan
-2 tsp garlic powder
-¼ tsp black pepper
-¾ tsp salt to taste
Final Bake
-2 tbsp (16 g) cornstarch (mix with 1 tbsp cold water to make a slurry)
-1 cup (100 g) reduced fat cheddar cheese
👨🍳Instructions
-Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
-In a bowl, whisk together the alfredo sauce
-Layer in each container: Dry pasta, raw chicken, then pour the liquid mixture evenly between all containers, add the parmesan on top
-Cover tightly (foil lined with baking paper or an oven safe lid)
-Bake for 20-25 minutes
-Uncover, stir well
-Gradually whisk the cornstarch slurry into each container. This will help thicken the sauce.
-Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the pasta is tender and the sauce has thickened
